The new edition of World English uses rich, engrossing National Geographic text, photos, art, and videos to involve students in learning about real people, real places, and real language. In this edition, newly added TED Talks and Readings also bring some of the world's most important and interesting speakers to the classroom. Each unit is divided into three two-page lessons, a three-page reading, writing, and communication lesson, and a video journal. A concrete objective at the beginning of every lesson focuses students' attention on what they will be learning. At the end of the lesson, a personalization activity gives students an opportunity to apply what they've learned and lets both teachers and students check student progress.
